¶ CDF Computing resources
The computers in the CDF fall into three categories.
The two left-hand PCs date from 2018, but are nevertheless powerful and well equipped.
The two-right-hand PCs date from 2019, and have been regularly used for mid-range computational tasks.
The display computer is a large screen PC/TV hybrid intended for visual collaboration, rather than development or processing.

¶ Display Computer
A large format touch screen PC with webcam, wireless keyboard and mouse, for conference-style interaction.
Can be used either as a stand-alone PC or to share screens of a laptop, using the ClickShare technology provided on the table to the right.
It is a Windows 10 machine with COMET-CE, Office Suite and various other software.
Since it depends on Windows 10 it is not on the standard EPFL network, but on the SafeNet. This means that applications have to connect to the Internet through a proxy server - see Internet settings, if necessary. It cannot connect to drives on the standard EPFL network.
